What we are doing with the money:
Donations are helping us fund our next documentary. We are teaming up with Sue Klebold to tell the story of Columbine in hind-sight. She is the mother of Dylan Klebold, one of the shooters. She will have to live with what her son did for rest of her life. In the process, she has tried to understand what she missed, how something like this could have happened in her home.

We like to think Sue must have done something terribly wrong because it assures us that something similar would never happen in our own homes. Not me, not my child. And it is this arrogance which leaves us vulnerable.

Until we are willing to face the complexity of mental illness, it will continue to surprise us. We are exploring what it would take, what skills would children have to learn, to be able to stop Columbine?
